Available species include maple, cherry, oak, and hickory across the Essentials and Masterpiece lines. The Classic line focuses on maple and oak for efficient production. Laminate, thermofoil, and MDF options are available for painted and specialty surface applications where budget or performance requirements dictate.

Merillat's finish range includes painted, stained, and specialty options scaled to each product tier. Popular finishes include Cotton (white), Shale (gray), and natural wood stains.
