Wood species & materials.
All major North American wood species are available including maple, cherry, oak, hickory, and quartersawn oak. Medallion also offers PureStyle, their proprietary thermofoil-like laminate that provides a smooth, consistent painted look without the grain telegraphing common in wood. MDF-core options are available for painted applications across all tiers.
Finishes & colors.
Medallion's finish program spans traditional stains, contemporary paints, and specialty treatments including glazing and highlighting. The PureStyle laminate option provides a factory-perfect smooth finish that resists chipping and moisture better than traditional paint. Custom color matching is available on their Platinum line for designers who need a specific palette.
Construction & quality.
Medallion cabinets feature framed construction with solid wood face frames and plywood or furniture-board box construction depending on the line. All products are KCMA certified, meeting rigorous testing standards for structural integrity, drawer function, and finish durability. Soft-close hinges and drawer slides are standard across the Gold and Platinum lines.
